In a flashback to events in the previous episode, we see the conversation Norman had with Peter from Norman's perspective. The injections he takes affect more than his body. Upset that Peter won't cooperate, he responds by capturing Mary Jane and dropping her off a bridge. Peter catches her with his webbing, but she doesn't respond when he speaks to her.
