When I first picked this series up, I thought: “How is this going to work?” But honestly – a few pages in, and I was hooked. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and of course Scooby aren’t the cheerful mystery-solvers we grew up with. Instead, they’re dropped into a dark, chaotic world where monsters are terrifyingly real and survival is no guarantee.

What I love is how the creators strike the perfect balance between nostalgia and fresh storytelling. The gang’s chemistry and humor are still there, but with a much edgier tone. It feels familiar and totally new at the same time.

And the art? Absolutely fantastic. Gritty, colorful, and packed with monsters you’d never have seen in the old cartoons. This is Scooby on adrenaline – I couldn’t put it down.
